By now I have actually studied rather in Depth Mixed Member Proportional system, I have not looked at Israel but the day British people accept something other than Oil from Israel will be the day I try and convince people it's worth a second look. Honestly Germany's system is pretty good, but I think British voters obsess over the manifesto's of the party and the strength of the mandates so proportional systems are out the window. Best bet is either Alternative vote (referendum did not go so well though) or single transferable vote, being trialled in Wales at the moment.
