• Kinda. Chakas, the human who Spark once was, has resurfaced from Spark's datastream. Spark was essentially a different personality in a way.

  • Go play Halo 3 again if you're too stupid to figure it out.

What part of "Spartan Laser to the face" did you not understand?

      • *facepalm* He took a laser to the face and then was in the center of a galaxy-wide explosion. What to you think?

        • Guilty Spark is dead. But Chakas fragment is still alive. Chakas was the ancient human that was composed and turned into Guilty Spark, and a very close friend to the Bornstellar Didact. So in other words, yes and no.

        • Yes and no.
While the Guilty Spark we know was killed on the Ark by the Chief, a highly corrupted fragment of Spark, the "human" part of him was left and discovered by UNSC scientists. The fragment contains memories of Chakas, 343GS' human form prior to his transformation into a monitor by means of a "digitalization" of his mind at the hands of the IsoDidact. While 343GS as we know him is dead, the fragment that contains his memories, while not intact, is alive. Greg Bear's Primordium can help shed some more light on this, if you are still interested.
