The GTA games have always come to PC. But just look at what modders have done to GTA IV
-
first, i'm glad that you'll probably get GTAV on the pc. People have been playing it on the console for nearly a month now. Has there been a release day announced for the PC? Second, I haven't seen ONE rig that runs that modded version of GTA IV without it looking like a slight show. If staring at high res pics all day is what "pc master race" wankers do, then why are you trying to troll console gaming boards?
-
GTA IV was so poorly optimized for the PC that it's no surprise that most rigs can't run these mods. I can run Skyrim with 2048x2048 ground/object textures and 4096x4096 NPC/armor textures at 70 FPS just fine, but I can't run GTA IV with any graphics mods.

That is insane, and it's actually pretty sad how they couldn't get GTA 5 to look that good even when modders have already done it...

Edited by Elrond Hubbard: 9/28/2013 2:10:25 AMKeep in mind: 1) Most games these days are primarily designed with consoles in mind 2) Developers need to aim for hardware specs that are affordable but current (single graphics card, quad-core CPU) With PCs, the speed of it depends on how much the owner is willing to shell out for it. When some people have like 4 Nvidia GTX Titans in the same rig, there's hardly an upper limit for what modders can do. They don't have deadlines to meet, or profits to make back, or anything like that.

What my shit? That's is amazing!
-
There's more where that came from.
-
sigh, if only....
-
Man if only I had money to make a rig that could run these mods.
-
Edited by Elrond Hubbard: 9/28/2013 1:41:38 AMMy own rig isn't quite there yet, I know that much. My graphics card is technically two generations old at this point. Nvidia's already released their next-gen GPU's, and now the world waits for AMD to follow suit with their own lineup.

GTA 3, VC, SA, and IV were all released on console before PC. What makes you think that will be different?
-
Just a joke. Gosh.

lol, well it worked. You pushed someone's buttons.
