I assume every stock sold needs another player that is buying.
If that is the care, at the first sign of trouble everyone dumps and the price goes to nothing.

Not really no, its not an exact representation of the real world stock market, and its not glitch free. you can buy an unlimited amount of stock for a company as far as im aware and each stock has a minimum value it can drop to, some go as low as 0.90 others about 2.50. None of the company stocks can completely die out since this would ruin the metagame
