The real question is why wasn't there ANY UNSC flying vehicle in the game?

Because Halo 4 wasn't finished :(

IIRC, It was because they didn't fit with the sandbox. Falcon's wouldn't really work on any of Halo 4's maps. Hell, you could see them in a few of the pre release screenshots.

Links? How would it not fit in with the sandbox? An updated version of the Falcon would have been wonderful That thing was so fun to drive.
