Avatar being the little thing you picked to show up as. I picked mine because I personally think mine is badass.

3 RepliesBecause he is mysterious and full of life. I always log on and find myself wondering about Mr. Floaty Chief. Why are his limbs so disproportionate? Was there an accident? Did it happen at birth? A side effect of the Spartan drug perhaps? And why will he not look at me? Always staring blankly into the great beyond. Maybe he is watching out for m-, no, for ALL of us. He may not seem like much, and most of you probably pay him no mind, but you must. Whenever you are trapped in the grips of a troll, or have lost hope for humanity in a thread from the flood, seek him, hunt him. Because he's the hero Bungie deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll continue to hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Floaty Chief.

Because to me, the emblem of the Starship Marathon represents Durandal. When I realized I had to adopt an emblem for personal identity, and after I'd played through Marathon Durandal, it was obvious that I would choose this visage to represent myself. Sadly, I will never again fly this crest in the battlefields of Halo. Although I tried to keep the color scheme consistent.
