Destiny movie or tv series
What do you think would be better? A destiny movie split into multiple chapters or a TV series that shows adventures every week?

3 RepliesI'll take a book over a movie or tv series. I can't think of a game-based movie that really went well, and tv series based on games/comic always seem a bit hokey.

If they were going to half arse it with a crappy cast and small budget then there would be no point! I also think the idea of a tv series would ruin it as it would end up a cheap knock up which was made too fast with a horrible cast (e.g defiance, which would also of been far better as a movie in my eyes) If they managed to do it on the scale of the lord of the rings for example then I'm all for it! Although I think it would be a long time away if at all!

I'd love a book or series of books. Like the halo series. One that has lore, action, and story that may or may not connect pivotal points between games/dlc. Eventually a movie would be in order. And since Hollywood likes to repeat itself we'd see plenty of high budget quality game related films. Instead of the mediocre game films now.

I'd rather have a book. Wouldn't take as long to create and could give us some good history of the world before the game comes out. Maybe take place in the golden age.
