Your definition is wrong. Don't throw around big words unless you know what they mean.

You dun get the point of this thread breh. Good day!
-
What is the point? To discuss Orizzle's fabricated political ideologies?
-
They're hardly fabricated. My term for liberal derive from Obama's political ideology. Where as the term for conservative derive from our Founding Fathers ideology. The point of the thread is to see if there is a correlation with theological belief, and political ideology. Theists, 100% of them prefer less govt and more freedom. Where as atheists, most, not all, but most prefer more govt intervention of some sort. :)
-
The funny part is conservative political policy is completely inconsistent with that of founding fathers and the constitution. The modern Republican Party has bastardized the constitution and brain washed its herd of sheep (your kind) to believe anything spouting from the mouths of rush Limbaugh and the dumb blondes on Fox News. Also, almost every one of our focusing fathers was atheist. Guess you shouldn't have slept during history class.

Edited by cxkxr: 9/18/2013 9:52:36 PMNo. A lot of them were deists.. And again, for the 5th -blam!-ing time! Ideology and political party do not correlate! I gave you my definitions for the term, which is absolutely reasonable. I understand there are a wide range of variety of defs for the terms.. But this is my thread. This is a study by me for me. Take it for what it is.

"Nation under God" was added in the 50s, during the "Red Scare".

Yet liberalism = communism because the Democratic president is a communist and therefore liberalism = communism. The idea of communism and centrally planned economies are completely incompatible with the tenants of liberalism. You cannot pull any made up definition out of your ass and expect people to accept it. It's like you're defining a mammal as cold blooded. It just doesn't work.

Edited by cxkxr: 9/17/2013 9:46:09 AMAgain, I was using King Liberal Obama's ideology to describe liberal. If you disagree with it, be a plaintiff to the POTUS for destroying liberal reputation :) Oh and btw, communism and central planning coincide absolutely :) derpaderp. derp.
Again, I was using King Liberal Obama's ideology to describe liberal. If you disagree with it, be a plaintiff to the POTUS for destroying liberal reputation :) ... derpaderp. derp.
Have to disagree. Liberalism, even Ordo- or Social-liberalism, strongly advocates market economies.
Social liberalism (also known as modern liberalism) is the belief that liberalism should include a social foundation, implicitly on a collective basis. Social liberalism seeks to balance individual liberty and social justice. Like classical liberalism, it endorses a market economy and the expansion of civil and political rights and liberties, but differs in that it believes the legitimate role of the government includes addressing economic and social issues such as poverty, health care and education.[1][2][3] Under social liberalism, the good of the community is viewed as harmonious with the freedom of the individual.[4] Social liberal policies have been widely adopted in much of the capitalist world, particularly following World War II.[5] Social liberal ideas and parties tend to be considered centrist or centre-left.[6][7][8][9][10] The term social liberalism is often used interchangeably with modern or new liberalism to differentiate it from old or classical liberalism.[11][12]
What part are you disagreeing with exactly? The Obama part or the central planning part? If you google central planning. It's hard not to find communism somewhere on the same page.. Again, definitions are so spread out across the board it's ridiculous man. Liberal can mean authoritarian, but it can also mean libertarian. It can advocate a market, or it can advocate state control. Man fk this shit! *smashes ipod on the floor, proceeds to rampage around looking for more shit to break*
-
I may have misread what you said. I thought you mean communism and central planning are compatible with liberalism. Communism is a very liberal philosophy - when used as an adjective. However, saying communism is a very leftist form of liberalism - when used as a noun - is just incorrect. Personally, I prefer the term progressive to liberal when describing it; removes some of the confusion. But like I said, I may well have misunderstood you.
-
Gotta be trolling.

Edited by cxkxr: 9/17/2013 10:14:04 AM>Complains about improper definitions. >Gets called out for improper definition of central planning & communism. >implies defendant is a troll. good night :)
-
Actually they were deists.
-
I stand corrected. Basically, they were not atheists like that guy so ignorantly claimed.
-
Once again you show your ignorance. "Under god" was only added in the 1950s as a device to combat "godless communism" during the beginning of the red scare. It's didn't used to be on our money, in our classrooms, or have any connection to the secular components of our nation whatsoever. And it needs to be removed...
-
Does it really matter what it says on the money?
-
Totally irrelevant. The point is the concept that we are a christian nation has been illegally forced upon us by the pious fu cktards of the Republican Party.
-
Are you a Christian? Im not, and I am not being forced to convert. It really is not a big deal.
-
did i say we were being forced to convert? no. i said we are being portrayed as a christian nation against the instructions of the constitution of the united states of america. republicons need to choose, constitution or Christianity, they cant have both, and as it may happen one is illegal.
-
When we incorporated the saying on our dollar is not my point... I've read Jefferson, Washington, Hamilton, Madison, Paine's autobiographies and writings(letters they wrote)(I own all the books too from the library of america), and they talk about Jesus quite a few times.. They were some brilliant mother fkrs I tell you what.
-
You're so full of shit its coming out your eye sockets.
-
Edited by cxkxr: 9/17/2013 9:23:23 AMlol. I can send you a pic of my book shelf with all the founders writings that I've read. every. page. of. You underestimate my love for the Constitution and liberty.
-
I have the same books. Orizzle most on here have received very poor educations when it comes to America's history. Don't let them get you to rustled.
