This is something where I--a software developer, by the way--would trust Microsoft over Sony. Microsoft has decades of experience making APIs. Even if it's horrible right now, I'd bet on Microsoft fixing it

  • [quote]The Ps4 will have better frame rate, better graphics, and be faster than the xbox one games wise. The XB1 will be faster with other, none gaming stuff, like their t.v. integration, multitasking, and internet. So basically, the Ps4 plays games better and faster than the XB1, while the XB1 does everything that involves multitasking and t.v. integration better and faster than the Ps4. This is what the Devs mean by saying all the stuff they have been. Example: Skyrim works horrid on the Ps3, great on the 360. If you put a game on the next gens that is like skyrim, it will probably have better frame rate and graphics,(Maybe, if the devs want to with the graphics), than the XB1, pretty much any game will work better on the Ps4. When you would search for something on the internet or channel surf, multitask, or just on live shopping for games, it will run smoother and faster on the XB1. • This is not the point I was making. Also, that is completely unproven

  • Not at all is this information un-proven, the way both of the consoles coordinate the way they use there individual hardware (speculation formed off of paper-written specs, and what developers and Microsoft or Sony had to say about the subject), indicates that what the quote stated will be how the hardware justifies what it will be focusing on.

  • Perhaps. I won't believe it until the day it comes out.
