I haven't seen either of the shows. Of course I'll need to start with A:TLA in order to get the full picture before entering TLOK. I'll probably have to find a DVD set though; I've been unable to find it through Netflix or any online sites I know of.

Netflix had all of The Last Airbender available until a few months ago.

Their contract with Vimeo ran out and it wasn't renewed for some stupid business reason I don't care about. 2,000+ titles were lost from Netflix for the same reason, and none of them have come back. It's absurd.

Yeah, she was. I thought she learned Tenzin and her superiors knows what they're talking about last season. Incidentally, she's reverted back to an angsty teenager, while Mako has actually developed likability and is serving as the voice of reason. This is odd.
