There is pretty much no limit to how many frames per second one can achieve, however 60 FPS is where you can notice the smoothness. I don't know if you can tell a difference between 60 FPS and, say, 120 FPS, however.

As a consumer, I too am concerned that I am not getting the most frames possible to properly immerse myself into the gaming experience. Is there a game where I can play with all the frames for all the seconds?
