Cortana is designed as a character whose sole purpose is to guide the character through both the game and the story. She's also an AI. Quiet is supposed to be a soldier who fights. Who the -blam!- fights in a thong? This is just blatant sexism. Kojima literally said he's trying to make characters look more erotic so it generates more money. Absolutely pathetic. Or rather, disgusting.
