QOTSA, Tool, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, there are a lot of great artists still going. They're just out of the mainstream. The only sign I can see telling me rock is dead is that there are no new artists getting good at it. These days everyone gets into making shitty techno dubstep-type music, because it's a cheaper hobby.

  • I can agree with this. It's just so troubling that those bands are the ones that have been making it since the 80's/90's. Maybe in a few years we'll get another Nirvana to reinvigorate rock music.
