EA have very unpopular snd questionable bussiness practices, but to label them as the worst company in America is childish. They provide products that are entirely optional (you dont NEED them) if you feel the company is the worst in America, why do you buy the games they publish?

So what if it's optional, they fit the criteria that they based it on like a glove, they make shitty products, they don't sell at reasonable prices (see- Online Passes) and they don't support the games that they shit out.
-
They got rid of Online Passes for future releases, Einstein.
-
"Boo-hoo, EA make games that I do't want. WAAAAA!!!" That's what you sound like. If you don't like them, don't buy them you idiot; it's not like you have to.

Edited by Mega Blaziken: 8/28/2013 3:33:52 PMYou seem to have mental disabilities, and can't read what I'm typing. as I said, they fit the criteria of the judging material perfectly, they make products people don't like, they don't sell them at reasonable prices (online passes) and they don't give support. the fact that the product doesn't have to be bought doesn't change the fact that their bad at what they do. I don't buy EA products anyways, just stating facts, now stop being such an illiterate faggot, open your god damn eyes, and read what the hell I'm posting.
-
Oh please. Yes, EA may be one of the most Jewish companies there are in the gaming industry, but by no means do they fit into the 'Worst Company in America' category.
-
Now you're just riding the hate train, because online passes are no longer a company-wide policy, they have published good games(battlefield,Mass Effect 3, FIFA,etc.), and they support the games they piblish for example (ME3 MP, Battlefield 3).

This guy. He knows what he's talking about.

They may not be the best company. But they are FAR from the worst. It's stupid that people have given them that label. Pretty sure any law firm has them beat. Not to mention companies like Enron that are still out there. If you don't like the games they put out, font but them. But you can't hate on them for trying to make money. That's what companies do.
Pretty sure any law firm has them beat. Not to mention companies like Enron that are still out there.
This is true but it's unlikely that many posters will know about it, because they cant get past "they made a game I dont like, and they charge me extra for playing" thought. Enron was so bad that the government had to step in and create the "Sarbanes-Oxley" act. I cant remember the specifics, but if you dont know what it is, google it.

That is why we should fear for the human race. But seriously, gaming should be fun, should be relaxing. But people are getting so worked up about EA, PS4, and XB1 that it's not even funny. There will always be a little sense of competitiveness between players even if playing on the same game and system. But people need to lighten up when talking about games and gaming companies.

Edited by CAR105 3: 8/28/2013 8:48:54 PM
But people need to lighten up when talking about games and gaming companies.
This is the problem with forums they give so much liberty of speech to the posters that some of them take advantage of this and create a hostile enviroment, in which they compete for being the top poster by bashing games, other posters and forcing their opinion unto others. I bet that none of the most fanboy posters dare go to a developer studio and bash on the game the same way they do it here on the forums.
I miss the days forums were for sharing gameplay tips, strategies, tactics, forming a strong bond between posters, creating silly threads, etc.

I bet that none of the most fanboy posters dare go to a developer studio and bash on the game the same way they do it here on the forums.
They say they would... But once they got there and got a tour of the studio they would be giddy as all hell when they left. It doesn't matter who makes the games we play really, as long as they are fun!
It doesn't matter who makes the games we play really, as long as they are fun!
True, but every developer has a touch of magic that sets them apart from other studios.

I agree 100%. It would be super boring if all games came from one developer or one publisher. Variety for the win!
Cliches can be fun too though (see the RPG genre which I love)
