Pretty much why I bought a Wii U. Now just waiting for Zelda Wii U's announcement. I'm crossing my fingers that Nintendo tries to swing people's buying decisions this holiday season by showing off a teaser trailer with a price cut or something. Otherwise, that is more exclusives then we've really seen from Microsoft or Sony. Although those consoles has much more third party support set for 2014-2015.

I don't really think they need a price drop imo. 300 bucks is already really good. I think they pressed the pause button on marketing because the games weren't ready. Hopefully they pull out the Yoshida Brothers this Holiday. "Wii would like to play... with U" *Epic music remixed v2*

Well I really hope Nintendo hosts one of their Nintendo Directs a month or so before Christmas and formally announce Zelda Wii U. They talked about it being "not ready to show off just yet" during last January's Nintendo Direct. So I'm hoping they try to do something else to compete with Sony and Microsoft this holiday season.

Nah, they won't. They have to leave something big for e3. That's their biggest hitter, I don't think they'll leave that for a Direct. Also, they said they wanted to do screenshots but decided we weren't ready for that, at e3 so I doubt it. They need it for e3 2014, a "surprise" trailer for it will win them e3 as long as nothing is shown before then.

If they even have a press conference next year...

Just because they didn't have one this year, doesn't mean they won't do next year. They make the best presentations, they just didn't have shit to talk about this year. They showed the game trailers and that was it, had there been a conference it would have been an extra our of padding for nothing. Next year they'll have stuff to talk about, like 2 gamepads, Miiverse on 3DS, eShop stuff, they'll probably show off their sales and Reggie will talk over some charts, new model? This year they had to get the games out, by next year they will have done. Also, even if they have a Direct, they would still win the event with their star lineup.

Okay.
