How is history fucking ruined by people doing this? Defaced? Are you kidding? It's like when people complain about a song cover ruining the original. Nothing is being ruined.

Maybe "ruined" is a strong word for it, but it certainly becomes defaced and changed with each iteration its put through. I am different than most people, I appreciate and respect history for what it is and how it should be remembered. Also, I would hardly call a historical motication poster about the bombing of Britain similar to an album cover.

You're unique, just like everybody else.
I appreciate and respect history for what it is and how it should be remembered.
And just how should history be remembered? What makes your interpretation of the past better than, or more correct (implied by " how it should be remembered")? And what makes an old British propaganda poster deserve to escape modification more than any other piece of history? There's no change. The old British propaganda poster will always have existed and we'll remember it as it was. "Keep Calm and Chive On" doesn't change any of the past associated with the British poster.
