What I find hilarious is that you just proved a point of mine. The guns are being transported from a place where everyone can own a gun to a place where no one can. Now imagine if New York laxed it's restrictions, and NYC allowed people to actually carry in the city. Do you think crime would be as high? The dirt bags who were caught already showed that they want to prey on easy victims, so what if they have to worry about being shot by their victim? Do you think they'd be as brazen?

With strict gun control it's "every man for himself" except criminals have more power.

yeah, what's different about that? police legally have no duty to protect and have no more rights to stop crime than an average citizen according to the highest court of the united states.

What I mean is that there will be a lot of "I thought he was the criminal" killings. People are dumb, and they get even dumber in a dangerous situation. There will be a lot of innocent people shooting each other if everyone were to have guns.

not really, most CCWers train more than police in the US, since departments can barely afford officers to begin with, much less mandatory expenditures of expensive ammo.

I can agree with that. But I still stand by the fact that people are idiots. And idiots shouldn't have weapons. Therefore, gun control is needed.
