I'm on a mobile device so I might not have been able to view the whole story, but how does this prove gun control works? It just busted some gun traffickers, it doesn't mention the amount of gun crime in NYC compared to everywhere else.

Edited by lonepaul2441: 8/20/2013 2:37:45 PMBecause it says the guns are coming from other states for criminals to buy and use and that the weapons are more expensive. Rather than every tom dick or harry buying one for a discount price and then shooting up a shop, now they need serious cash to buy one. Shootings drop and murder rates drop. Unless the criminals come from other states armed and cause trouble in New York causing the murder/crime rate to increase superficially and then used as an example as to why gun control doesn't work.

Where are the stats saying NYC has less gun crime?

I can't get it and compare it because most lists have all states in alphabetical order which makes it difficult.
