Well, I can't say I'm really excited for MS's since it's private. Unless they plan on showing some things to us. I heard they're event is for press only.

Alright, fair enough. Maybe MS can even convince me to get an X1 first after Gamescom. As it stands, I'm getting a PS4 first, and I'd hate not getting it first, but at the same time it would be nice to have a different brand of console than what I've been playing since the 90s...

Which is why I'm getting a PS4 first. At the same time, it would be nice to play a completely different console compared to the ones I'm used too. However, I'm waiting out to see what happens. It's possible MS could do something really good and make me want to get an X1 first.
