Ever since I completed MGS3 I've wanted a Metal Gear Solid based on The Boss and the Cobra Unit during WWII. All we know is that she was in Normandy and she apparently led the Allies to victory, but nothing more. Although we might not have Metal Gears or such, the threat of nuclear weapons could perfectly exist. The [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url]'s were developing the atom bomb, but were stopped before completion (as far as we know) when the Allies took France. It could be a great threat and fall within Metal Gears ideology since the series is really against nuclear weapons. I wish this could come true one day, maybe not as a main Metal Gear Solid game, but as a spinoff or something of sorts. It would be amazing to see the Cobras back in their prime in the variety of environments WWII was. Sneaking as the Boss in the Ardennes during the winter.... C'mon. Could also explain more about the Philosophers and such. That said, I would also love a remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. Which ever would come first would be greatly appreciated. As long as the other comes out as well, of course.
