Welfare money comes in if you are looking for employment IIRC. It is not an infinite source of free money.

Even people with jobs can get welfare. I lnow people who intentionally get minimum wage part time jobs so they can keep getting Housing vouchers and food cards.

Well that's interesting, although this tells me that people [i]aren't being paid enough. [/i] Especially because real wages have fallen behind productivity in the last 30 years.
