The only thing i see going wrong is the massive amount of potential abuse. All a dude has to do is fake their status and BAM, into any women's restroom they go. Same with the females. Aside form that i don't much care, i don't give a damn who occupies the stall next to me so long as they stay out of mine.

And I'm pretty sure it would still be illegal to rape or assault someone, so IDK how you think your convoluted what-if scenario has any weight behind it.

Who said they'd give up the charade that quickly? If they have the balls to go for it, they'll probably do it for a good while. The teachers/faculty can't really say no, since they would potentially violate the students 'rights'. It's not like they can read his/her mind and tell they're lying.
