Why is it that Christians ask what was before the Big Bang as some sort of disproof of it, but are yet OK with an infinite god? Its because humans are very good at dismissing whatever they want to get what "proof" they need to justify their actions.
Why is it that Christians ask what was before the Big Bang as some sort of disproof of it, but are yet OK with an infinite god?
I'm not saying that that's not how the universe was created, but all effects must have a cause. And since we will never be able to know what happened before the big bang, the idea of an infinite God creating the universe from an infinitesimally small speck is just as plausible as any other theory. Wait, how did we go from discussing studies of drugs to discussing the beginning of the universe?
I question my belief in God all the time with shit like "Where did he come from" and other questions like that. Having a belief or lack of belief is boring as Hell if you're not gonna lighten up and poke fun at it half the time.

 • It's not like you're not allowed to be Christian and believe in the Big Bang. Only creationists would really care, but it does bring up the question of what created the Big Bang which science cannot answer and so of course, to a religious person like myself it just seems like there has to be some type of being.
