Yeah that's what I did except my dot moved up a bit. I ended up uploading it to tiny pic. For future reference, is #.jpg a Bungie thing to tell it that you want to display an image?

Basically, yes. I'm fairly sure that the site only tries to embed images where the URL ends in a .jpg, .jpeg, .png, etc... so if you have a URL to an image which doesn't end in one of them, you just need to tack-on an extension (but make sure the image still loads, which is why I use the # symbol).

If you knew anything about basic Internet image hosting, you'd realize the file type will always be at the end of an image source. It's not that difficult.
