• Which ever one had the most buttons! Because we all love going from button to button for story progression!

  • I didn't like any of them, but if I had to pick the one I disliked the least, it would be Requiem.

  • Hands down Composer. Not as many buttons, at actually looks nice, and it has the classic Halo theme at the beginning for like 2 seconds. Woot!

    • Forerunner. Forerunner was as classic as Halo 4 got, it reminded me a-lot of Halo 2 and Halo: CE. You had the three way fight between the Master Chief, Prometheans, and the Covenant Remnant which was awesome. And the Didact intro was epic. Sadly after that level, the campaign just went downhill from there.

    • It's an eternal battle between Requiem, Forerunner, and Midnight for me. I'll go with Requiem. It's the only linear level that makes it feel like you're exploring things.

    • It's pretty tough. Requiem, Forerunner, Reclaimer, Shutdown and Midnight were all largely awesome. Requiem has some incredible scenery, moments and the gameplay is nicely varied too, so I guess that. Shutdown was my favourite at launch, but on reflection, the vehicular section was underwhelming on the gameplay front, and the on-foot sections may have been ever so slightly too much of a grind.

Midnight's gameplay is extremely fun for me. However I either like or am okay with most of the missions. But I give shutdown props to having the best cutscenes and music. Revival is an epic track. I do not care how much you hate Halo 4. I do not care if the quality of music is supposed to be only relative to taste. That song is amazing.

    • Gameplay? Requiem or Forerunner. Narrative? Midnight or Forerunner. The Didact's awakening was -blam!-ing awesome.

    • Midnight, fighting Prometheans was the best part about Halo 4.

What the f*ck How is the scripted a$$, Call of Duty QTE Dawn tied with the scripted a$$, Call of Duty QTE Midnight for first? I mean, I know Midnight was excellent from a narrative point of view, and Dawn had that "Oh sh1t" moment, but seriously wat

      • Toss up between Requiem or Composer. The rest of the levels were either meh, downright terrible, or Midnight.

Gameplay? Requiem. Easily. It's the only one I can actually enjoy playing without glitching/speed running/Mythic-ing. From a story/atmosphere point of view? Midnight. Because of the atmosphere and one of the best damn character evolutions and deaths I've ever seen. Points off for the Didact "payoff" though.

        • Requiem is incredible, one of my all-time favourite missions of the series. The atmosphere was absolutely bang-on, from the opening segment at the crash site to the bit where you emerge from out of the caves to see that massive shifting spires, I still get goosebumps. The music here was actually implemented perfectly which contrasts with the rest of the game where it's just way too quiet. The Forerunner cathedral which is being gradually reclaimed by nature was amazing too, Legacy adds so much to the ambience of that bit.
