The second point seems like a perfectly acceptable reason to mute someone. Why would you not improve your experience by separating yourself from someone you don't like? People do so each and every day in their real-world lives. In fact, I would strongly question the sanity of someone who remains around those he or she may not like simply to appear aloof.
