I'm messing with you, I've been yanking your chain the whole time. The soldiers in the National Guard aside from their work schedule are no different from the reservists and active duty, we're all one team.

They are subjected to all the same basic combat training and Advanced Individual/One Station Unit Training as everyone else. Unless you go through Officer Training.

The National Guard deploys rather frequently actually. But the primary mission of the Guard is to safeguard the Homeland.

Yeah they can have a movie about their 1 weekend a month training.
