It's not even for any type of content, just XBL stuff. And things like games, movies, tv shows and music are already in the cloud. So that just leaves us with a (not really) unlimited number of game saves (or things like Halo theatre files) in the cloud.

oh yeah, aside from the fact that there are on demand games... -.- so yeah, it's not just game saves, it's also saved games. :)

Do you think Microsoft keeps one copy of a game for each user? There is only one single copy for everyone. The one you download when you buy. To me, that sounds pretty -blam!-ing familiar to how it is right now with the Xbox 360.

Don't talk about things you don't understand ;)

Are you sure you don't understand? When you store your games in the cloud, it really isn't making a copy of your game and giving it it's own unique storage space; instead it simply recognises the game and ticks a box off on your profile, saying that you have permission to download the uniform set of files from their servers. Those Games on Demand & DLC files have copies on many servers to allow the required bandwidth, but they're not unique per user. The cloud storage is only useful for unique items that Microsoft has the rights to copy off your HDD (so very likely no music / videos that you've put onto your HDD from a CD or USB) - that just means game save files (theatre clips, custom maps, gamer profiles, game progress files, etc).

You see, that's not what I was saying, was it? You might want to think about my original comment before getting all smartass on me.

Edited by Dragon029: 8/1/2013 8:45:31 AMApologies; I've slept about 12 hours this week due to work load. I do have to ask why you implied that realdomdom didn't know what he was talking about though; his point that this is pretty much the same as what's available already on the 360 is pretty much correct.

But??? I don't understand...
