I'm pretty sure fucking Buddha is pretty much the "god" of Buddhism. If you have faith in the idea that he did achieve this "nirvana"...

I was told by my friend who is Buddhist, that they still see him as a man who has achieved enlightenment, but the -blam!- if I know I'm not Buddhist. She said they strive to be him, but he isn't a god.
