I'm not exactly short of money to blow though. I already have a gaming PC, but use consoles to play with those friends of mine who don't.

They removed the entire DRM system when all people complained about was the 24 hour check in. At least, that's what the majority of people did. I don't see how that's a stupid demand

Removing the Kinect will totally ruin the console.

I was poointing out that MS removing the entire DRM system because people complained about one aspect, what could have simply made more lenient, was stupid of them. A weekly internet check would have sufficed, hell maybe even a monthly. B) Enlighten me, how would it do that?

I want the kinect..I love it actually.

I want the Kinect. It's multimedia features are nice, and supplements some games and provides games that I can enjoy without sitting on the couch. Besides I'm not giving up playing movies with my voice when I go to sit down with my arms loaded food and drink. Being able to tell my console to do the little things is very nice.
