Nine. You use the blood of a divine, Talos' blood, to stop the Oblivion gates. To say there's only eight is false.

  • Oh, I thought you were talking about the fact that Martin carried the "Dragon Blood" (of Akatosh). I forgot about that part, sorry.

  • Well, technically the "Dragon Blood" is just a saying. Before the Amulet of Kings was destroyed, each newly declared Emperor would have their soul bound to the amulet in the Dragonfires ritual. You didn't necessarily have to be a blood relative of the previous Emperor in order to wear the Amulet of Kings. You only had to have Akatosh's blessing.
