Because this is a Journal, he doesn't talk much about himself. Mainly what he's feeling and seeing. As he (and i) gets used to writing in this format, he'll start to talk more about himself when events happen in the narrative. I thought of writing a prologue for this in order to flesh him out a little more, but it came off a little cheezy. Not to worry, friend-o, there's a human behind those words. A living, breathing, changing individual. Just like you.
