There will not be a system like this. This is not Natural Selection 2 where someone jumps in the command chair and plays a strategy game instead of an FPS (Interesting concept though) and, more importantly, I certainly won't be listening to someone giving advice or orders. I'll do what I want, when I want, even if it gets me killed. Penalty for disobeying orders? This isn't a Mil-Sim either. Now, rank in Destiny would be interesting to discuss, but I'll be damned if there is a penalty system for ranks.

  • I really do agree with wanting to go my own way on the battlefield. I'm a solo player myself, so I was curious as to how a system like this would work. Thanks for the feedback. As for someone "jumping" into the command chair, I could see how that would be a problem. There would no doubt be those who would abuse or make poor use of such power. So maybe a player isn't best for a commanding role. Leave it to an AI to make objectives then, eh?

  • I suppose, just a simple target point would do the trick. The fun would be in finding the best path and plan of attack to get to that point. This, of course, would only apply to cooperative play. Competitive play is a different beast that wouldn't need AI (unless it was an added bonus of enemies for both sides of the conflict)
