Before I call Evangelion on this, I want to ask if there's a difference between the two. Is there a difference?

Evangelion and Pacific Rim? I haven't really watched Evangelion, but the fans of both series get all pissy each time you compare the two, so I'd assume it's not all that similar.

Hey, I saw Pacific Rim today. It was alright, the part with the newton balls was way cheesy though.
