  • Which game? In Halo 4, I have a 1.05 K/D (nothing spectacular, like I said. I will say, my brother has played on my account as well, so it might be a little higher if not for that.) I have a CSR of 29.

  • Well thats decent K/D. How do approach each match? What do you do?

  • I go in with a mentality of "hit each shot". I focus, and I hit the majority of my shots. Sometimes I forget, and move into a casual position. That's when I -blam!- up. I also try to to my best with the strafe. I feel like this is one of the areas I need to work on.

  • Well what i do, is think about all my options. When i'm shooting someone I go from the upper torso to the head. When shooting him you only focus on him for now till he is dead, runs away, or he kills you. If your face more then 2 people you might consider backing out unless you have a power weapon. I could go on, but it wouldn't help unless I show you.

  • That's not what you want to do. I used to play like that until I realized that I could win a lot more battles by forcing people to engage me in positions where I would have the advantage, such as high ground or near cover. Choosing engagements and knowing when to back off is a lot more important than having a good shot or good strafe. It's helpful when you combine it with good positional awareness, but overall, it's not a gigantic factor like a lot of people believe it is.

  • Wow, thanks. I've never really thought about that. I always knew about power positions, but I feel like I rush too many times and end up getting killed.
