If you play competative in Halo these days people will just lol at you. After Halo 3 when you actually had to be good to rank up, competitiveness in Halo has crashed and burn.

I know. But I just want be good. I want to go on Halo 3 and people are like "shit, he's good" I want to play LAN with my buddies in Halo 2 and just utterly destroy them.
