Yeah; they are far from done. The Devs say it alot. Its a great game. Much like star wars, I would bet cash money that borderlands has inspired Destiny team as well.

Oh yeah definitely, did you see that Destiny gun that was red with a bayonet underneath it? Looked exactly like a BL gun.

yeah! i did!! and the "thousands of guns thing" Those guys at gearbox took a big risk making thier game the way they did. Little did they know that they would be inspiring others in the industry.

I do remember in one of the interviews for BL2 the CEO of Gearbox said that he was surprised that "no one has copied our formula yet" Well time to not to surprised anymore!

lol I know that the folks at blizz are working hard and stand a good chance of making something that will surpass borderlandsand just about every other shooter out there, but I just wish the gearbox got got more kodos for what they did. They changed the game :)
