It baffles me on the things you guys say about it, I feel like none of you guys have ever even been to it.
Everyone there isn't a "Blind Halo fanboy who sucks off 343". In fact, I would say the people over there are more critical about Halo 4 than here. There are tons of threads and posts there, all criticizing the decisions 343 made, such as removal of gametypes, certain features, etc.
Another thing, no you do not get banned for having a different opinion or having a negative opinion. If that was the case, half of people on the forum would be banned.
No, it's flaming of presenting your opinion in an insulting manner which isn't tolerated. Feel free to present any negative opinions of the game as long as you develop them properly and respectfully, like this
Overall, I feel like because some people here were banned on that forum for "no reason" (when really they most likely acted like dicks), there's this notion that the whole forum is garbage.
Granted, it's not perfect, and sometimes it loads really slow, but it isn't the terrible mess you guys make it out to be.

Thank god.

Go back to 343
-
Its terrible when you can't point out that somebody is flat out wrong without them whining and crying about you being mean. The mods are bullshit as well.
-
No, I and many others debate and argue all the time. I frequently tell other people they're completely wrong about a subject and I'm disregarding what they say. The only difference between me and you, is I know how to be respectful. you likely insulted them, or someone else.
-
I already point that out literally telling somebody they are wrong and the idea isn't going to happen is considered an "insult" on the forum.
-
Uh, no.
-
I don't think you can tell me that my experience is incorrect.
-
Because, you are changing it to fit in your favor. You don't get banned for telling someone they are wrong, and its not considered an insult to do that. You likely DID insult them though, by using a swear word, or calling them a name, or posting something which didn't contribute to the topic.

If you can't link me to any of the threads i was banned in i don't need you to try teaching me anything i experience on my own. I got banned for changing a quote to say "In my ignorant opinion halowars is non canon", That says enough about the mods over their. Funny enough that you won't get banned for talking about building a mcdonalds on requiem (which is nonconstructive) yet calling a halo game non canon is somehow considered an "opinion" even though that goes against their own rules as that is spreading false information. Before you say anything stupid calling somebody ignorant is not an insult. The word outright means "Unknowing, without knowledge". I used it in correct context and there wasn't anything behind the statement yet i got "warned" and then "banned". The mod system is a joke over there i don't understand how you are suppose to be 18+ on a forum yet it is filled with humans under 13.
-
I agree with this x1000 Waypoint is a biased mess and they think the word ignorant is bad, they are ignorant for thinking that.
-
Nope. Why don't you link the exact thread that you were banned in. because I can't believe your bias. The moderation system in Waypoint is good, just different than here where we can just insult and troll each other all day with no punishment.
-
1. I am banned dumbass so i can i link it the post i was banned from and the messages explaining that if i can get on the site to show you? mind you this was about a month ago so it isn't like i can go to page 2 and link it. 2. I don't understand how i am "biased" as the only reason i am on bungie is because i am banned on waypoint so that card didn't work.

I was permabanned on Waypoint once because BS Angel thought I was purposely misleading users with information given to me by a -blam!-ing Microsoft Support guy. I spent the next few hours of my time getting proof just so I could give them the finger, when I did I was unbanned and didn't even get an apology. I think I got permabanned again at some point and I appealed it (which was nice) I enjoyed my time at Waypoint somewhat so I went back on there. Eventually I just saw some of the dumbest people writing the dumbest crap that I'd had enough. I just PM'd a Mod and told them to Permaban me for the last time...and when I said Permaban all those times, I mean a serious permaban. I have no idea how I managed to turn them into temporary bans, but whatever I guess. Either way, I won't be going back there anytime soon. Not with some of the people who go on there each day. As far as I can see, Waypoint wants their community to be like Mr Rogers but they don't seem to understand that Halo was a game aimed at Mature audiences and the rest of the community shouldn't have to censor themselves because some dumbass parent bought their spoiled brat a game they shouldn't have in the first place.
-
...I was just asking how the waypoint people feel about us and you brought in Halo 4, dislike of Halo 4, fanboys, and 343.
-
No it is a terrible mess. Many people in this thread were banned literally for no reason, how is it being a dick saying you don't like halo 4?, oh wait, it's not. That isn't a coincidence or just so happens everyone is really bad that got banned. It's called bad moderators at the 343 forums who ban on bias and opinion. There are plenty of blind fanboys on that site as well. It baffles me you think that forum is good lol.
-
They probably said something along the lines of "3fai3 and Halol 4 sux"
