I got it a few days ago. My Windows 7 laptop can run it but with slight framerate drops when shit starts exploding.

Oh, cool. I have a Windows 8. Honestly, I'm not even sure if Halo 2 can be played on Windows 8.

IIRC the hit or miss problem with Win7 got fixed, I play it on Win8 fine.
