Nobody ruined anything?
-
you could get games for 40 bucks or less if there was drm
-
you do know microsoft stated flat out before the 180 that the games were going to be the same price as what they were before, $60, right? http://kotaku.com/microsoft-to-sell-next-gen-games-for-60-price-of-gami-513489951
-
could have gone lower if people werent complaining
-
you seriously think Microsoft would lower prices? just look at the old retail games in the marketplace, then tell me that they'd lower prices.
-
because they have to make up for the discs they made why dont you understant basic marketing
-
they already did, games cost about $40 to make and replicate, they got an extra $20 per sale during initial launch, and you're saying that the overpricing on the marketplace is to make up for disc costs? you're an idiot, and I'm done with your stupidity, don't bother thinking up some bullshit, I'm done.
-
If this was true how come digital downloads on the 360, where you can't sell them used, have never gone on sale ever? NHL 13 is still $60 when NHL 14 comes out in september. Microsoft had the opportunity to show theyd lower game prices with their digital download store. Instead all they showed was their greed so no don't trust anything they say in regards to cheaper games.
-
because the rest is on a disc you dumb -blam!-. not everyone buys it on the f@cking store
-
Still they could have encouraged people to download the digital copy by lowering the price. But they didnt do that either
-
because they are doing it on the next gen wont you get it its not that hard
-
It wasn't that hard to do it now. Frankly digital downloads should be cheaper since there is no shipping and processing. If they wanted more users to download the games they should have lowered prices right out of the gate. They could have proven this generation that digital downloads would lower the cost of a game. Instead, they charged the same amount and there was literally no reason to do so.
-
they tried it for xbox one not 360 otherwise the disks they made where thrown away money dumb f@ck get it !!!!!!
-
You know the Xbox One was selling the games in retail stores even with DRM too right? Retailers were gonna still sell discs. Please calm down you really are acting like a child. They could have done it for this generation and demonstrated that they would lower prices. At this point because of the way they handled the digital download store there is no reason to believe that digital downloads will lower game prices.
-
Yeah, but publishers decide prices. They could sell there games for $40 if they wanted to. They could also, choose to only sell digital copies of games.
-
Xbox exclusives are still overpriced on games on demand.
