You are the most retarded person I have ever seen. The fact that 0.99999... = 1 should be obvious to anyone who passed basic algebra, yet you are bringing this subject up again even though everyone ALREADY F*CKING KNOWS. Also, the first two proofs are taken straight from Wikipedia, and you probably got the third one off somewhere on the internet as well because I have also seen it a number of times.

Well, based on the fact this thread has exploded contradicts your assertion that everyone knows 0.999... = 1. I don't claim that these proofs are original. They are just proofs. I did not use Wikipedia when making this but would not be surprised if it had identical proofs.
