Here I thought this was going to be important/interesting instead it is just about that boring game known as TF2.

The millions of people who play it disagree. TF2 is a great game. You wouldn't have all you FPS games without them on the PC. Like Counterstrike, one of the best competitive FPS games I've played.

TF2 was released in 2007, is a generic boring game, and didn't revolutionize the industry. As for the original that is debatable. Then regarding the millions of people that say otherwise you do realize there are millions of people that play the shit called CoD so yeah.

Er, the first Valve sponsored Team Fortress.

Yes, a Mod from Half Life. Valve DEVELOPED Team Fortress 2, which IMO is much better.

The very original Team Fortress game was a mod for Quake, the second one was an intensive Half Life mod. The Half Life mod was more or less sponsored by Valve, so they at least had a bit of involvement with it. Anyways, semantics aren't fun. And neither is TF2, but as someone in here so awesomely pointed out: That's just like, my opinion, man. I'm really not a fan of the cartoon theme they applied to it.
