How? It's pretty obvious who's posting. It just takes up space best used for something else, or better yet, nothing at all. The whole "neat-o!" thing was old and tired from the start.
You can have all the tags you want, there is no max. tag limit(Or if there is you don't need that many tags anyway), and having a unique tag that goes on all your posts makes it easier to find that person's posts in the search bar.
