All there, all free. Some of the text on that site talks about downloading Aleph One as a separate application. Everything is actually built into the single download now, so you'll only need Aleph One separately if you want to play user-created versions of Marathon.

For Carnage Apply Within is the most active group on Bnet with regards to Marathon online, and possibly the most active one period. We have Game-Nights every Tuesday and Friday, with the Fridays always being Myth or Marathon, and the Tuesdays occasionally being non-Bungie games. We're currently in a Myth month, but we'll be doing some Marathon later this week for the FCAW Olympics (you'll have to join FCAW and sign up for it if you want to play then), and I think we have Marathon Infinity going on a Tuesday later in the month. edit: I posted all of that because your odds of finding a game outside of a scheduled event are slim to none.

Don't worry; Custom Edition comes up about once a month. PM [url=http://www.bungie.net/7_atom95/en-us/view/profile/index#!page=index&mid=88626]Atom[/url] if you want to play it though; not a lot of people have been showing up for it, so he doesn't give it that high of a weighting.
