Actually, legally he is not a criminal. His oath to defend the Constitution supersedes any oath he made to the government. If you witness the government committing crimes and it's within the interest of the public you have a duty to report it.
However, I don't care much for this guy. He shouldn't be punished, but he didn't tell us anything we didn't know at least eight years ago.

Not at all. I don't blindly believe conspiracy theories. This is something we have KNOWN! http://www.nytimes.com/2005/12/16/politics/16program.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 They want to execute him and hold him accountable for his "crimes" but want know accountability for themselves.
