Xbox Handheld: Would you buy it?
Quick theoretical for you guys. The other two of the "Big 3" (Sony and Nintendo) both have a handheld system. However, Microsoft seems to have not gone this way. I'm asking you guys if you would buy a Xbox 360 handheld gaming device similar to the product put out by Nintendo and Sony.

2 RepliesYou crazy? They'd just shove ads at your face, and give you some under budget Halo adaptions, and shove those in your face too. I'm comfortable playing Assassins creed and Monster Hunter on my Vita.

I understand how Nintendo games work well on handhelds (Zelda, Pokemon, etc), but Sony and Microsoft games just don't seem to work for me. I guess Sony handhelds are okay, but I would never buy one. Popular Xbox games (like Halo and COD) would feels weird on handhelds. In MOST cases, I feel handhelds are for younger kids who don't have the attention span to sit in front of a TV and fiddle with real controllers. Therefore, Xbox handhelds would be as well received as the Wii U (nobody really cares about it).

Nah, not that I don't like Microsoft, it's that I'm done with handhelds. Phone is the way to go for me.

If they somehow made all the Halos onto that I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

It would have to depend on the features. What sorts of things we could do on it. Knowing Microsoft and all their cloud gaming it would probably play a big role in it. If it were to be made I wouldn't want it to be like the psp I would want something different. I think it would be cool for hand held online (talking hypothetically of course.) idk I would have to see what it would be like before I would buy. It could be really cool or really bad.

It mainly depends on how it works. If it's powerful enough to play current 360 games and it's own games that are on the same level. And it's able to cross play so I could play the handhold BF3 with the 360 version, then I might get it. After my Gameboy Advanced I moved onto a more hardcore deceive which is the PSP and now the Vita. I don't see the point of getting the Xbox handhold just so I can play pretty much the same games. Like I said the only way I would get it is if it's able to cross play with the 360.

9 RepliesMicrosoft is focused on selling their Smart Phones and tablets, they would not survive in the handheld market, Nintendo's got it on lockdown and even Sony can barely keep up. They should stick with the phones and tablets.

5 RepliesDepends on what games come out. I'd buy it if one good game comes out for it (just like the 3DS. I only play Pokemon on that.) A Halo handheld? Yes. A COD handheld (that is good). Yes. An Assassin's Creed handheld? Yes.
