Does it really take us 6 months to decide the verdict on a court case?

  • The case has been at trial for a total of 9 days.

  • Is this a different case? Trayvon Martin has been on the news before, and he was dead then too.

  • The trial started June 24. Incident, investigation, indictment, charges, arrest, bail, pre-trial hearings, jury selection, trial by jury, and then if found guilty, sentencing and appeals. It's the legal system, not Twitter.

  • That the retarded ass prosecution's fault. They keep dragging this out because they think it's Hollywood or something. The case is cut and dry. Zimmerman, though he may have over zealous, acted in self defense. Treyvon was the aggressor and got himself killed. This case would have been over in two days after it happened if the ethnic backgrounds were reversed.
