RAGE was great, until it just randomly stops without any ending to speak of.

I literally picked that game up earlier today for $15. Haven't opened it yet though.

No, it's published by them. id Software developed it.

technically yes and no. Bethesda owns ID software as part of their games division but they do remain under the name ID.
