Uh... this year if you're talking about outside of little kisses on the cheeks of female family members. This year I entered into the first relationship I've ever been in, and the first few times I was really nervous so it was just quick pecks on the lips. Then the first "real" kiss ended up being an hour-long makeout session. That cleared up any nervousness about kissing pretty well.

I think there might have been a little bit of that, but it was mostly just what she calls making out. Kissing each other's lips and holding one of the other's lips between yours for a moment (less than a second) before releasing, then repeating.
