I asked my brother about Fallout 1 and 2 the other day and he never played them. Just sorta interesting I guess because all the people I know started with Fallout 3

That's understandable. F1 and F2 were turn-based traditional RPGs released in the 90's, and had nowhere near the hype F3 had. It's like all the Elder Scrolls fans who jumped in with Oblivion or Skyrim.

You should really give it a shot. Either one of the old-school classic Fallouts, or NV.
